If you’re trying to sell ‘pork sandwiches’ to Jewish vegetarians…You’ll work your fingers to the bone, but not experience even an anemic trickle of cash dripping into your bank account.
But…
When you discover what “Jewish vegetarians” crave and waft that in front of their faces…
IT STARTS TO GET DARN FUN!!!
In fact, they say you can’t sell ice to Eskimos.
I say YOU can.
If you know what kind of problems, frustrations, and doubts they have with their ice supply now.
I mean…
Wouldn’t it be fairly easy to sell an Eskimo a block of ice if they are FED UP with EATING YELLOW SNOW?
Here’s how to tap into your visitors DEEP desires, help them and literally fill your bank account at the same time.

The POOP TEST
=============
Imagine yourself sitting at your computer working to drive
traffic, trying to get your site or article indexed, listed and
ranked in Google.
Now imagine…that someone is secretly recording you
while you’re working….without your knowledge.
What would happen if they were to listen to the recording?
What would they hear?
Would it be you humming a cheerful tune and the happy clack
of the keys on your keyboard?
If so…you DO NOT need Bring The Fresh.
Okay?
However…
If what they would hear is…
grunting
straining
cursing
a little (or a lot) of pounding
In fact, ask yourself?
Does the noise you make while trying to get your search
engine ranking, sound a LOT like when you’re on the
potty the morning after you ate a huge cheese log?
Would it be hard for someone listening to your recording
to tell the difference between you working? and you
on the throne?
If so…Please know…
Getting traffic doesn’t have to be such a ’s-s-s-straining’ experience.
Your eyes are NOT supposed to bulge out of your
head.
and your not supposed to experience a migraine afterwards.
Ya know?
and…let’s be real…
While driving traffic may never be as fun as shooting off fireworks.
It can…and is supposed to be a fun and REWARDING experience
much of the time.
you sweet, sweet relief
Rooting For Ya,
Travis
That’s Frida Kahlo in the Google splash, very famous artist. She was married to Diego Rivera, another very famous painter and muralist. Frida endured terrible pain from injuries sustained in a streetcar crash and some of her paintings are gruesome reflections of her suffering, so expect some shocking imagery if you investigate her artwork.
Thanks and best wishes…
Hey,
Just for the record.
Today is July 7th, 2010. Yesterday I’ve sent my list an ebook that I wrote explaining 12 methods of how to make money on the Internet.
Who’s reading who’s mind
?
Looking forward for the next video
Thank You
This is my 2nd time through this video today. Keep them coming. I especially enjoy the fact that you take us step by step through the processes.
Hey Travis,
First class, as always
Looking forward to your webinar with Mike Long!
-Jim
Travis,
You said you had been in the auto auction market. What happened then?
I am asking because I have been in that market and I am doing it more or less the same as you described in the video, but this year I am experiencing a huge drop in revenue as an affiliate.
Have you had the same thing?
Hey Travis,
On a light note, your video talks about “feeding” the starving crowd and your web page talks about pooping and constipation. I get a laugh out of you every time. These are 2 basic functions we all can’t live without.
On a more serious note, your video supplies us with information that us marketers can’t live without.
So I thought that was a good parallel there.
Thanks for the good stuff. You always over-deliver!
Peggy
Bahahaha! Poop Test, honey?!? You are soooo silly!
Hey Jen and Travis,
Right on! This is the step I know I have been putting off or skimming over, even though while being a member at WA everyone kept saying, “research, research KNOW YOUR MARKET or niche!”
I guess I just didn’t listen well enough or know what questions to ask them and myself as to what my crowd wants. Now I have a much clearer picture.
Man I have to get my S___ together!
Thanks guys!
@Yahia I actually used that market as a little experiment where I wrote 10 articles and sent the traffic to one opt in page set up on UsFreeAds.
and that was it! That’s all I did. That was the experiment to see how many opt ins I could get with minimal effort.
Today (2 years later) I have a list of (at the time of this writing) 3028 folks and have made (guessing) between $1000 and $2000.
Now I had two follow up sequences and that was it.
I didn’t ‘go deeper’ because there was just too much other opportunity on my plate. (a good problem to have and one I pray everyone that follows Project Mom will have.)
Sorry I can’t answer why your conversions
are dropping off.
Your answer though will be found by either ‘hanging out’ with your audience, or asking them directly.
Peace,
Travis
@honeybunch
I’m so sorry you have to put up with my dorky sense of humor sometimes. I love you for it though:-)
Hi Guys,
I know that I’m repeating myself, but hey. Brilliant and highly informative. Roll on the next video.
Have fun,
Mike
Travis & Jeannie,
Really loving these videos! I feel like I’m finally starting to get a handle on this very difficult subject! Nothing like the human touch to help someone learn about this sort of thing (finding niches, products, etc.). This has been one of the biggest drawbacks in even starting out in this business. The whole “matchmaker mentality” is quite an eye-opener!
Plus, it’s nice to finally see and hear the lovely Jeannie (love your voice, by the way)! This is a great format: the aforementioned “human touch” you have with the snappy banter and laughter actually make it much more fun. (Being so stone serious the whole time can make soooooo many videos exceedingly dull!)
With Jeannie’s questions and Travis’s answers actually being verbalized, this gives us more insight into the mysteries of affiliate marketing. A much needed and refreshing change from all of the other stuff out there.
Great job, you two! You keep on making them and I’ll keep watching them! Thank you for all that you do, for giving back and paying it forward!
God Bless,
Scott
Thank you so much for this useful information. This was a great video. I really appreciate how much time you are putting into this to help walk us through the steps. I feel like I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!
Hi Guys:
One quick question:
Since most of the time, as an affiliate marketer, you do not suffer the ailment as your prospect, how do you justify the fact that you say you want to help people if you don’t know if the affiliate product that you choose to market really works or is valid?
Fictional examples-Are you marketing that “natural” headache cure because it’s a great sales page or the commission is good or because it really works? Or does that “end back pain” remedy really work? Or that “natural” panic attack remedy?…
We should all strive for honesty in our marketing, but it’s difficult, because we may not ever truly know the product, regardless of the niche. What do you do?
Thanks
Another great video guys! Thanks for sharing such great information FOR FREE! I really do not know too many other people who would just give this information away like you do. Abundance thinking at its best!
Thanks,
Richard
@Denis
DARN GOOD QUESTION DUDE!
Here’s something you may not realize?
You have waaaay more power than you think.
Most vendors (if you are talking about an info product) will simply SEND YOU their product…if you just ask.
Seriously.
That’s what Jeannie and I are going to do when we select which product we want to promote.
I sometimes will just BUY the product.
But…
here’s something else I’d like you to chew on.
Remember in the video how we visited the Amazon review section?
They have this for PHYSICAL PRODUCTS as well.
Wouldn’t you say that if you spent say 2 or 3 hours or more?? and boiled down what you found out…including positives and negatives…and put that on your blog…with ALL DUE CREDIT.
Wouldn’t you say that is WONDERFULLY VALUABLE?
To save a person HOURS sifting through all the reviews?
You would do it like a REPORTER.
for example only:
Does PRODUCT X work as well as the TV commercials say?
You may have seen the commercials about PRODUCT X?
and it’s also one of the most expensive widgets on the market.
Is it worth it?
After pouring over 291 seperate product reviews, visiting 3 forums and polling 977 folks…
Here’s the somewhat surprising consensus:
(WHAT YOU FOUND HERE.)
Then…
(you could say)
If PRODUCT X sounds good to you.
Don’t order yet.
I am an affiliate for PRODUCT X which means that I can get special deals not available to the general public.
In fact…through this link below you can get FREE SHIPPING.
http://www.youraffiliatelink.com
Hope that helps.
Also…
Could you drop me a line and let me know if you found this review digest helpful?
youremailaddie@email.com
(NOTE: you could’ve also asked them to join your ’special offer’ list:-)
==========
Remember…people are busy.
and as long as people are busy.
YOU CAN ALWAYS ADD VALUE by saving them time.
You do the work once…and save dozens, hundreds or even thousands of busy folks HOURS of research.
Isn’t that booty kickin?
Thanks for asking that!!!!
Rooting For Ya,
Travis
Thank you so much! There is so much information here that I am going to have to watch it again to let it all sink in.
You are both stars.
Hey Travis,
Thanks for being such a good mentor,
I said this before, but the internet is so cool when I can live in Melbourne Australia and get this kind of quality mentoring,
You put in lots of effort into this, I can tell, as can others, and I know it is going to come back to you 10 times.
Thanks again Travis and Jeannie.
Thanks Travis & Jeannie for another awesome video.
Thanks also for the time and committment you two put
in, in this video series, and as a whole,in your dedication
to your subscribers.
Please, never apologize for the lengthy videos or moving
to slow in your explanation, thats exactly what we need…
a step by step detailed roadmap to follow, and thats what
your giving….you waaaaaaay over deliver, and I appreciate
it very much.
Even If we already know something, hearing it from a different
point of view, can give new insight, and if not,…like Ive heard
before, “Repetition is the Mother of all Skill”.
Look forward to the next video.
Thanks again,
Ron

Hi guys,
Great video. I vote for the long ones. Lots of great tips and information.
I agree with others. Having the two of you makes it feel like I’m sitting right there beside you asking questions myself.
Your videos are way more interesting than instructional videos that we pay money for.
Thanks for all your time and sharing your knowledge.
Jackie
Having Jeannie do this with you was an absolutely brilliant stroke of genius! As one of the little bears said to one of the other little bears, can’t remember which, ahhh, this is just right.
Thanks to both of you.
Hi guys!
Wow, I can’t believe your giving away all of this info! I will never look at any product the same way again. Everywhere I go, my mind is constantly going through the niche factors. And the pace is just great (I have a real life too). Thank-you! Thank-you! Thank-you!
Doreen
Hey Guys,
Thank you so much for the video. You guys are just fantastic!
I have a question.
In the first part of this video you talked about how people often try to rank for keyword phrases like Panic Attack Symptoms & then they try to lead the searcher to a product for “Curing their panic attack,” & they don’t make many sales because that’s not where the searcher is coming from.
If the keyword you were trying to rank for was something like, “How To Cure Panic Attacks” would you then make your page about curing panic attacks because that’s where the searcher is coming from? Or would your landing page still be about “Symptoms” and then trying to lead them to a cure.
I just want to make sure that I have the right idea about this… that our landing pages, articles, etc. need to be geared for the searcher and where they are in the buying cycle… and that comes from the keywords we are trying to rank for. Is this right or am I way out in left field? LOL!!!!
Thanks for the great info.!
Joe
Thanks for another great video. I am a newbie and didn’t know where to start with IM so the info you are giving is extremely helpful to me and I can’t thank you enough! I’m constantly checking email to see when new video’s are released LOL!
Denis: I had the same question and thanks Travis for the input. As I try to decide what niche’s I want to dive into I have worried about the products that I would be recommending and if they were really helpful or worth what people would be paying. I really want to make some money but I want to be honest and really help people. :0)
Hey,
Thanks for the great video.
You mentioned that people are busy:
“Remember…people are busy.
and as long as people are busy.
YOU CAN ALWAYS ADD VALUE by saving them time.
You do the work once…and save dozens, hundreds or even thousands of busy folks HOURS of research.”
Is that a good reason not to use squeeze page and email marketing since people are too busy to subscribe and wait for my newsletter?
Hi Travis and Jeannie
WOW – ‘bumming your way through keyword research’
Brilliant!
You have a really good knack of showing people how to do things – and so more easy to understand.
Thanks ever so much, look forward to more.
Graham
Hey Travis,
Love the videos…Just wondering what software you use to record your videos?
Michelle
Awesome video! I have been using this very tactic when searching for niches. Thanks for the awesome video!
Hi Travis, Hellow Jeannie,
I have to tell you I am one of the slow people. I take everything in and then I digest it…But the main reason for this comment is to tell you both how much you make learning fun…If learning is fun, I will learn more and so will a million others.. I am very easily distracted….thank you both for making it so much easier to listen and learn…the hands on is a wonderful thing also..there are tons of people who can not do learning without the hands on…By the way Jeannie you have a very sweet voice…not that Travis doesn’t but it is nice to have the ying and yang..have me smiling the who video…Thank you both for the great learning experience! 2 thumbs up!
Hi Travis,and Jeannie,
I wanna say thanks again for an amazing video. You guys bring so much more clarity, and do it in such a fun way.I am one of the slower ones, and I am taking lots of notes to help me get it.I pretty well have a book written on what you have taught.Much of the information overload is now becoming clear.
Both of you are very patient, and empathetic too, which reminds again about the consistency, caring.I forgot the other c,so I have to check my notes again,
Anyway, again thanks both of you.Have a great day.
Phyllis
Thank you so much! You have made such a difference, and I learn so much from your methods. First Bum Marketing, now how to really connect with potential customers, this is great.
This is what has been missing from my marketing efforts. I have been so busy trying to rank, and write articles and get content out there, but I wasn’t really connecting with my readers.
I didn’t stop to realize and address what they were looking for, or who they were. Huge mistake…
You are an amazing teacher, and I am really thankful!
Grrrrrr, leave the wonder wheel alone, thats a secret weapon! lol. Actually I’ve started to see alot more people talk about the wonder wheel alot more. Wonder wheel is my number one tool for building my entire site and googles keyword tool is the best for scoping out keywords to use in wonder wheel. I’ve had sites rank on the first page of Google with a couple days of completition without backlinks…..by far the two most powerful tools on the internet.
Thank-You both so much for breaking everything down so specifically. I am new to IM and have joined WA. It can be a little overwhelming but by doing a combination of training I am picking up so much. I have listened and taken notes on all these videos and while I’m waiting for the next video I will go over them again and get all my research done. I’m so glad that you have really drilled over and over how important this is. You both are the best – thank-you for sharing your wisdom in an easy way to understand.
Travis and Jeannie,
This video is one of my favorites so far!
Travis, you shared some of these lessons with me when I visited and they totally changed my perspective on how I see online marketing…
…But the really cool thing with these videos is that I feel like I’m still in your living room watching over your shoulder while you walk me through your special brand of cash grabbing mayhem
Great stuff!
Here are some of the highlights for me:
>>Distinguishing what people are REALLY looking for when they search for “anxiety” keyword terms…and how to use that distinction to multiply sales. (5:21)
>>Using Google’s free “wonder wheel” to find related keywords…and what people are ALSO thinking about when they search for a term so you can pick up on what they are REALLY thinking about. (14:55)
>>Jeannie made a great point about what happens when people are searching for “make money” online…how they don’t necessarily know just yet how they want to make money…just that they do want to make it. (18:56)
>>The Auto Auctions tip…how if you’re looking for an auto auction online that’s going to be something that you want nearby…instead of just looking around online for the “best deal”. 27:14
>>Quanticast.com – as Travis puts it the “neilson box” for searching what’s going on with various sites and how many visitors they are getting so you can see what sites are exciting people right now. (37:24)
>>The surprising way Travis uses Amazon reviews…I don’t want to spoil it for anybody who hasn’t seen it yet but this was an “ah hah” moment for me
And of course there’s so much more!
Anyway, what a super resource Travis and Jeannie!
I’ll be referring my friends to this video for years to come!
Mike Long
#8 is the best yet. Do not worry about the length of the videos. This was the longest and the best.I am a neubie and this info is priceless.I never thought to look at google keyword tool vertically-opens up a whole new perspective-stroke of genius.Never knew about wonder wheel.
I am glad you take the time to explain everything.
THANKS!
You guys are all the BEST!!! Thanks so much for letting us know you appreciate our efforts. I’m having a great time learning too!
Plus I am not so afraid of doing these videos now and it’s actually starting to be a lot of fun.
Travis & Jeannie,
Thank you so much for such a great video. I feel this is one of the best videos EVER of all the videos I’ve see on internet marketing to date. I’m starting to “get” how to find the hungry crowd and where to go to find out what they’re hungry for. You showed me some tools I hadn’t heard of before and can’t wait to use them for my research.
Looking forward to the next videos. You have certainly got a hungry crowd here! Thanks again.
Hello from Ohio,
Now I don’t want to say you guys make long videos but you need to get to the point quickly. I mean I just finished watching the first 13 seconds of this video and I still can’t make $10,000 a day! How much more do I have to watch?
This really has been one of the best series of learning videos I have seen on the net. A really big thank you to both of you for the enjoyable, informative and delightful way that I just experienced this past hour.
God bless.
Brian
EXCELLENT STUFF MY FRIENDS
While some complain that you guys are taking too long, I am going to reiterate my gratitude for you both and for sharing this powerful knowledge. You are teaching us how to do market research step-by-step, of which most steps are so often overlooked and under utilized.
So as anxious as I am about making money online, I am practicing patience and understanding that due-diligence will soon pay-off…
Thank you for such great info.
You two are a great team.
Love to listen to the interaction and love for each other coming thru.
Travis you are a really blessed guy.
Robert
Travis you absolutely ROCK with your teachings! I love the fact that your lovely wife has joined you.
I enjoy all of your teachings, videos etc… PLEASE keep them coming!
Take Action ~ Be Successful,
DianiaLee
Well, another fantastic video! I really can’t wait to see the money rolling in for mom! I really enjoy these videos because they make me realize that you don’t have to overthink things. The simple methods are still effective and if you can master the fundamentals, you can make money. You’re both an inspiration to many new and experienced marketers alike!
this was a really cool , funny ,and informative video, please dont ever apologize for how you both teach because thats what makes this different then all of the other stuff thats out there (because your personal with your audience) looking forward to the next video . i really cant express how thankful i am that you both take time out of your busy lives to help someone such as my self who just wants to make sure financial woes are never a problem … again thankyou so much for teaching us how to fish instead of just giving the fish
be blessed
Hi Travis & Jeannie,
Yes, I got your video and thanks so much for the great material. I had several ah, ha, moments. In the past I created a blog on a niche and I remember going into wordtracker and looking up what keywords people were searching on in my niche. I then went to ezine articles and find articles that were directly related to those keywords in wordtracker and posted them to my blog. My only mistake was I didn’t write my own version of these articles nor did I add any affiliate products because I was basically copying articles written by other authors so I had to include their resource box.
One thing I did notice though is that I got a lot of traffic. This was 2 years ago when I was very green to internet marketing and didn’t know much at all. Now I am finally learning a lot more thanks to you Travis and Jeannie and I look forward to your next video. I hope you post it soon. You too are very generous to share your knowledge with us. I really appreciate it.
Take care and keep those videos coming!
Sandra
I really like the way your teaching and bringing us along. It’s starting to get really interesting. Looking forward to the next video and beyond! Thanks to you both. Luvin’ every minute of it.
I love the way you paint the picture of having to talk to the customer instead of what the sales personal wants to say. Your image of understanding that the customer is concerned about “yellow snow” and that will literally let you sell ice to THOSE esimos.
Trav and Jen, Thanks so much for the video, makes one
feel like they’re sitting in the same room with you
getting a tutorial, but really laid back, sooo cool!
Thank you!
The information is valuable and useful!
I love that you created a Project Mom videos…
I feel I am a seasoned website creator, however, new at internet marketing or online businesses.
I love how you were informative and relaxed.
Hey, Travis and Jeannie, thanks for another great video. It was so intresting learning all the tools to help make a great landing page (looking forward to learning how to put that all together). I have been to the google keyword tool a few times and am glad I thought like you and read vertically, made me feel like I am getting this. I am glad you are going at a slow pace as someone like me needs the slower pace, and I understand and learn so much more this way watching and listening to you guys talking. Bless you guys.
Cheers
Chenee’
