Great video, and as this is my first post here at Project Mom, I’d like to say thanks for ALL of the videos. It’s just been over the last few days that I’ve found and been coming around to absorb them, and I can definitely say that the information has been superb! I’m good on the technical aspects, so for me the real value has been in the customer focused research and mindset areas. But I truly get a kick out of just listening to the undertone that says “soul mate” in the way you both relate.
Gives me the feeling it would be really nice just to meet and become acquaintances with you, but I suspect you get that a lot. Maybe someday upon achieving a some measure of success in all of this, we could do just that. Until then, Thanks.
Thanks Tom!
Jeannie makes it easy!
We love meeting and making new friends too.
Travis
Okay, Travis, you may not be a P.I.M.P but you are totally INSANE and that’s why I keep coming back time after time. You let me know that if you’re not having fun doing what you do then you’re doing something wrong.
Jeannie’s great and has a wonderful voice and together if you two ever decide to give up your website business you should have your own talk show because you are very sweet together and always make me laugh.
Now, I know you were trying to make thisnsimple for everyone, and I know you suggest people start at a reseller accout, but I have to say that I use Hostgator as well and I enjoy the fact that for less than $10 a month,, that although I only have one “file folder” they still allow me unlimited accounts. But not to be contradicting to what you taught, as soon as my bandwidth slows down (and my traffic moves up) I will be moving up to a reseller account.
Keep up the great videos. I can’t wait to get together with you two again.
Your dedicated bum,
Rick Avant
Great demo Travis aanndd Jeannie,
I already knew this stuff, but thought I’d watch anyway. Your a great teacher, the way you put things into the simplest terms, so down to earth. Love your style Travis,
I think Jeannie brings out the best in ya, he he, Keep up the great work guys.

Hey Travis,
I agree with other posters. I have a baby accnt at hostgator for $10 a month. I have multiple websites hosted and have never had any problems.
Of course I don’t have a zillion visitors either but one of my sites. I would consider a re-seller account down the road, however.

I wanted information, not giggles and silly chat. Why do people think that a video is the way to communicate? It is slow, usually stupid and done by people I wouldn’t spend five minutes with. If you have something to say, for goodness sake write it out in clear and succinct prose so I can read it and get on with my life.
Excellent series. Now are you going to cover promotion and how to actually make the money? lol
@Dave thank you for your experience! I don’t have a problem with a smaller account as long as folks can put more than one website.
My experience is that when you do start generating consistent
revenue…when a site bogs down…and you’re losing money every hour…that $19 extra per month starts looking pretty good.
Plus…I think folks SHOULD plan for success…What’s the other option? To plan to fail? That sucks!
@Eunice, sorry this is not your preferred format of learning. It is by some…and not by others. If you’d like? You can send me a written version and I’ll be happy to post it underneath the video.
@Brad…of course…make sure you watch the START of Project Mom because THAT is where the REAL MONEY is made. You don’t catch fish by building better fishing poles…or putting more poles in a pond where there are no fish.
You catch fish by knowing what kind of fish are in the hole, what they eat, what time of day they like to eat, where their favorite spot is in the pond.
THIS IS THE LESSON I AM SO DESPERATELY TRYING TO TEACH.
This is NOT a blog business.
This is NOT a back link business.
This IS a PEOPLE BUSINESS.
If all you had to know was how to put up a blog and get back links to make money…India would be one of the richest countries in the world.
Your success in this business is 50% the niche you choose, 40% how well you know the niche…and only 10% on getting traffic.
We at Project Mom…as we stand right now…are 90% finished:-)
Peace,
Travis
This is the best video so far. I was never entirely sure I understood the whole domain name/hosting thing. So I found this video very reassuring. Can’t wait to see the next one.
Thanks for this site.
Travis, I am very new to all of this, so if we start out with the smaller account how will we know if our site will start to bog down. Will it be obvious to us so that we can upgrade and not lose any money? $30.00 a month is alot to me right now, considering I don’t know if my new site will make me any money and how long it will take to make money. I also think the way you teach is great for newbies. ThankYou very much!!!
Hello,
I have some questions about places to get domains.
Many IM folks and gurus say to use GoDaddy.
Is GoDaddy the cheapest and best (in your opinion) place to get domains?
Does it have a cheaper renewal fee?
What about Namecheap? It seems to show a lesser initial price.
Thank you in advance?
Robert
@Robert
I’ve tried other domain registrars and I always keep going back to Godaddy. Price’s for domain names should be absolutely NO issue unless you are wanting to register 100’s of domains, even then I would still use Godaddy.
But if a few dollars is a big deal when registering just one domain (or a tiny few domains) then here’s a trick for you. Do a google search for Godaddy coupon code or promo code.
I have NEVER paid more than $7.67 for a dot-com domain “tax and all” at Godaddy.
Hope this helps! This is just my 2 cents worth. This is only my personal opinion based on my own experience, Cool?
Stay Boosted!
Gary
Hey you two, I am so looking forward to the next video! Travis you are a very good teacher. Your coaching skills comes through loud and clear. Jeannie your enthusiasm and support for Travis is, GOLDEN! I have learned so much through these videos. I know that I will be a success in the very near future, why? Because I have fantastic teacher and assistant. Rock on guys!!!
I really enjoyed this one! You guys are fun! Hope you had a great time on your Friday!
Keep us posted!
Thanks!
Question? Why would I need a reseller account when Host Gator allows unlimited domains and bandwidth on the Baby plan?
To all: My sincere apologies for the delay in getting Project Mom finished up. I’m calling our place “The Sago House of Disease and Pestilence” these days because of how bad the winter flu has hit us. First Travis got it and was the sickest I’ve ever seen him. He even lost his voice right before a webinar and we had to frantically find a way for him to get it back long enough to do it. lol
I only got a mild version of the flu while Travis had it but now I’ve got it full-on complete with…you guessed it…no voice! So it’s my fault that we haven’t made our next video yet since all I can do at the moment is croak. I’m doing my best to get better as fast as I can though and we should be back on track soon so hang in there!
Thanks SO much for all the support!
Jeannie
Hi Jeannie
Sorry to hear that you and Travis have been so unwell, I hope you get better soon. I wonder how Travis is as a patient, must be an upside though -having you as his ‘Florence Nightingale’ nurse (LOL)
Don’t worry about us – all good things are worth waiting for!
Just get well
regards

Hey Travis and Jeannie,
Hope you are both doing well now. I just am getting over a very bad cold myself, and it isn’t much fun. I enjoyed this video as always and look foeward to the next one. Please, both of you, keep up the great content.

Man they must really be sick–its been a few weeks.
Lots of changes Travis to Article Marketing just handed down from ezine–seems like it kind of hurts the bum marketing method a little bit. Ezine is getting rid of all of these specialty niches like dating and health and wellness and so on. Just wondering if the “Bum Marketing venue still applies.
Is there another video coming? Hope everything is ok Travis
Just wondering–we havent heard anything from you guys and its been a awhile–is this project still working?
is this site done? Are there going to be anymore videos? we are left hanging here a little without any information or emails. Many of us bought into the program. So is there a way you can post something to let us know whats going on?
Thank you
Hi there Travis. I have to admit that my first taste of IM came last year thank you to your videos…and would like to know if there’s any chance of you guys finishing up the project mom videos.
Regards.

Well honestly I hope everything is ok, but we have received but one or two updates as to what is going on. Im a little turned off by this and have to believe that it probably didnt work. Even if the project took a nose dive just stay in touch with the people and leave a response other than someone has a flu that has last 3 months even if you have to make it up. Leaving us hanging isnt exactly the proper thing to do.
Maybe he got in a fight with his mom and doesn’t want to help her get Clickbank checks anymore.
Personally, I think he is just waiting for a big product launch to push with the video training.
Just completed Video !4….can not find Video 15 and beyond on your blog site video list….can’t wait to keep going on this…I am really stoked and excited….This 75 yr old man thanks you for these videos…Please advise where to find the next ones…Thank you Travis….John Hayes
