I love your in depth approach to research, I know people are anxious to make money “NOW’, but they have to be patient, plus its worth it in the long run.
Your gonna come out far ahead of those who do 10 minutes worth of keyword
research and slap something together. Its just like fishing, even if you know
how to fish, you still need to do your homework to find out where their biting,
what there biting, get in front of them and be “PATIENT”. Sometimes if you
do your homework properly you might not have to be that patient.

@Carl I’d like to see a higher payout too. We’ve not decided on the niche yet, but you want to always try and keep in mind what your visitors want…and making a good match.
If I were doing this niche for me…I’d be offering the actual Cat Trees.
@ Carl, since this is for his mother, it actually needs to be kept at a low dollar amount. The income generated from it will fluctuate from check to check, we don’t want it to be a high amount that she will become financially dependent upon. Just a little extra money each month. We are not set on the cat tree plans though. We’re still deciding if it’s right for us or not. It made an excellent example of a clickbank product to do research on so we went with it for this video.

I cannot get videos 9,10, or 12 to open. I hit the arrow and nothing happens, the little circle keeps spinning. Also, there are only zeros in the area indicating the time on the video. I have watched all the other ones, in fact yesterday I watched #11 without a problem. I have gone back to 9,10, qnd 12 on three different days and they do not work. I am dying to see these videos, especailly after reading all the great comments.
Any ideas on how I can get it to work??
By the way, all the videos have been great!

Well this video was a real ‘eye opener’ to niche research!
What I really liked about this video was the role reversal – Jeannie was the expert on cats and Travis took her suggestions, turned them round into internet marketing ’speak’, and showed how to put them into niche research.

I get discouraged sometimes because I put so much effort into building website after website, just to find out the product/market is a dud.. and I don’t make hardly anything (if anything at all). I’ve got about 10 out there that don’t make me a thing.

Sometimes, it’s hard to really find a niche that will make you real money, so you can stick with it. Unless, you have someone that can lead you all the steps through it.

Digesting all of your information was great and I can see that it pays to take the time to do more research into your niche first. Have to go back and revisit the sites I have up.

Maybe I just picked up a “bad” vibe but up til the 23 minute mark of the video I get the impression Travis has already decided in his mind this is a market of freebie seekers. Which may be true. I’m just saying he’s mentioned it in the video several times now which makes me wonder if this was already researched or is he seeing this for some other reason not explained? Interested to see how it all plays out.
